It's been a heck of a year, with ups & downs aplenty.
Come along now 2007.
What surprises shall you bring this time?
Last year, I may have subconsciously wished for the improbable, the illogical.
This year, should I start wishing for the possible?
Lala Sunshine Countdown
The smsu boys outdid themselves again.
Where they clobbered the girls with sprays of party string last year, this year they sprayed their hair with shocking blue, red & yellow. All the while in Lala fluorescent T-shirts :S
Boys.
Oops on the paranoia. But then again E Hunt would've enjoyed the 3 girls' molestation in excuse for the suspicious-looking knapsack rite? Lol
Here's a dodgy phone vid of Sunway's Fireworks. Sorry no shocking pics of the mad countdown yet. Will be waiting for Jason to upload his pics heh.
For the mo, let's be settled with the prior NYE Korean bbq dinner.
My first proper korean feast.
Never knew there were so many bowls of kimchi ever. Yum.
Authentic stuff? Korean maggi (lol), Jerry's ox-tongue (not too bad actually), Hui Wei's pork belly (and all I see is fat :S).
The enthusiasic restaurant's boss, smitten by MF (wink), treated us a round of funky Korean wine :D. Drink up, Master MF!
(R) If that wasn't enough, he had the whole restaurant singing, drumming and dancing an exotic piece for her. All for her... 19th Bday??? Ahahaha. Oh yes, I just had to catch it on vid. Woohoo.(L) And tt's the grungy car remote. She's one muscular woman ;)
When Home is Best
Ahh, one of the things I'll always miss about home. Giant jumbo juices.
They finally redid the park grounds! No more dodgy pathways hazardous to jogger-wannabes like myself, heh. And the B/W foot reflexology path, I like. The design anyway :PBack to more Xmas trees, in Msia tt is:
Sunways's street decor on our journey to the usual Countdown spot.
Osim's "Merry Kissmas". Smooooch.
(L) The perfect example of a Msian Xmas: A fir tree, alongside a palm tree :S(R) More blue baubles @The Curve.
RedFM Screening
Lucky me got a free screening of The Wedding Date :D
So off I went to Msia's own Cineleisure with Nelsen, Jerry & gf Poh Leen.
It's great to catch up with old acquaintances while having fun.
It looks very familiar, doesn't it?
Paddington's Pancakes. They actually serve pancakes for dinner??
Pancake creativity to the test: Jap-like Salmon + wasabi, McD-like big breakfast, & err... Pizza.Came acros a bunch of funky tables in the rush to the cinema.
Attention to details. Wow.
Could only catch one pic in time: miniature bikes at the base of the table!Gotta visit it another time to catch the warships, cars and the rest.
Close-up view.
