Happy happy Xmas!!
No there ain't snow here, so xmas summer it is...
Still technically right since it is 12 days anyway heh...
Got lotsa prezzies...
Some pretty...
Some yummy...
Some tiny...
Some wackily sweet...
Some yet to come, haha...
Absolutely touched all the same... Thanks a mil peeps :o)
Glad most are satisfied with what I've gotten them... still owe mum tho... think I'll get her dance sneakers tho the daughter never owned one before, hee... haps mum i tell ya...
Xmas at home is as much as I could ask for, having meals with parents and meeting up with sec school friends... glad we're still a tight bunch after so long... did nothing much but bumming around, sth I haven't done for some time, haha...
A relatively tame weekend compared to the drinking party craze in Sing *wink wink* but I shan't complain, haha... Think I myself would have been terrorised! Next time u guys shd come over n crash my side here lah ;o)
Anyway, went clubbing with the sec gang near home, since KL itself would be undoubtedly packed... got caught in the jam still n ended up wishing each other in the car, haha... the club at Pyramid was tiny but packed to the brim with ppl, mainly bengs n lians...
Remind me never to go on major events again, can't stand the pushings and shovings thru sweaty bodies and groping hands just to bop up and down to lousy clangy music in a stuffy sardine-packed sweathole... pretty unlucky coz the dj shifted from hiphop to mambo n house when we were tipsy enuff to brace the crowd... damn... so left early n didn't join the gang for pool... had to attend friend Andy's xmas musical the next day...
So sleepy me dragged mum out to watch "The boy who sang the better song", a local church production on the meaning of xmas lead by the man himself... leaving me with a good feeling and appreciative of life even for a non-christian...
The evening had pharm classmates Jacin n Ee yang out for a round of the weirdest supper we ever had... the menu listed a combi drinks n snacks u would have never dreamed of..
eg. toto drink = potato n tomato juice???
mango mashed potato... it basically tasted like warm mango ice cream, haha... but tolerable... the ultimate was the drink i ordered...
Lavender juice..
A deep purple shade...
Tastes like SHAMPOO...
Bloody hell, it was so wrong, totally screwing up your senses...
5 sips were the most I could muster, even with utmost determination to finish the damn thing...
Shit, who's bright idea was it man...
No more purple drinks...
But it was all good when it got neutralised with my long awaited Ramlee burger which we relished at home with a chick flick "Must love dogs" tt we successfully coerced Ee yang into... the movie turned up surprisingly good with us awww-ing away... slept again at 4...
Only to wake up early 3rd day in a row...
To see fishes!
Yeah went to check it the newly opened Aquaria at KLCC, our rendition of the Underwater world... tho not as impressive, but it was fun nonetheless with the great company... oohing and aahing at every single lil thing like lil kids, just like reliving our childhood days, haha...
Then of course it got a bit madder...
When we started searching for horny toads and fishes...
And bickering over which fish would make it best on the dining table... grilled unagi, shark fin soup, or some big mama fishhead curry... mmm...
Thus we adjourned to Manhattan Fish Market...
Who said Aquaria's supposed to deter us from eating fish?
All the fish watching got us hungry man...
Tho I barely kept myself awake nodding away and leaning against any available vertical surfaces... the pillar, the wall, the aquarium, haha...
Oh well, eventful weekend after all...
Would had our own drinking party at Chi Wei's... but got cancelled due to a water cut... wwuuttttt... or else it would have been as 'eventful' too eh?
Show me the pics porshee!!! bwahahaha
